The Coral Car – REEFLINE Series (Sand) is an exceptional porcelain creation by internationally acclaimed artist Leandro Erlich, produced for Lladró Art Editions. This striking work is limited to only 175 pieces worldwide and marks Erlich’s debut collaboration with Lladró.
Each sculpture showcases extraordinary craftsmanship, incorporating 1,418 individually hand-sculpted marine elements. Corals, tubular sponges, sea urchins, poriferans, and algae intertwine in a vibrant yet harmonious composition, finished in exclusive sand-colored satin matte glazes. The subtle palette evokes the delicate beauty of underwater ecosystems while enhancing the sculptural depth of the piece.
Created in collaboration with REEFLINE Miami Beach, this artwork invites reflection on sustainability and the fragile balance of marine life. As part of Lladró’s Conscious & Creative initiative, a percentage of the proceeds from this edition is donated to support REEFLINE’s mission to preserve coral reefs, which are essential to marine biodiversity.
