This towering piece required nearly 480 hours of development, with each sculpture undergoing 17 days of meticulous firing in Daum’s crystal furnaces before the intricate finishing, polishing, and mounting process begins.
Handcrafted using the lost-wax casting technique, both the crystal body and the artisan-made bronze base—adorned with an elegant blue patina—are true testaments to Daum’s unwavering commitment to excellence.
The vase features a signature blend of four harmonious colors: two soft greens, warm amber, and vibrant blue tones, highlighted by blue crystal cabochons. This reinterpretation of the Fleur de Paon collection introduces a sense of lightness and heightened transparency, bringing new vibrancy and refinement to a beloved Daum theme.
