Handcrafted with extraordinary precision, the sculpture reflects the distinguishing features of the Eastern elephant—smaller ears, a serene posture, and a lifted trunk symbolizing auspicious energy. Draped in richly detailed ceremonial mantles, the elephant is adorned with scalloped borders, floral engravings, and handcrafted tassels that evoke traditional South Asian processions.
The decoration is one of the highlights of this work: over 20 carefully selected colors—including shades of orange, cobalt blue, emerald green, lavender, and rose—are hand-applied by Lladró’s expert artists. These tones blend beautifully with golden and iridescent lusters that enhance every contour and pattern. Garlands with golden bells and orange-tinted porcelain tassels complete the ornamental ensemble, adding movement and festive charm.
