This monumental limited edition portrays an opulent 18th century ceremonial carriage drawn by four white horses, crafted with breathtaking artistic and technical precision.
Inspired by the historic royal coaches preserved at the Coach Museum in Lisbon, this sculpture translates aristocratic grandeur into porcelain art. Every element is executed with obsessive attention to detail - from the richly ornamented carriage and finely dressed noble couple to the servants’ uniforms, harnesses, and the dynamic movement of the horses.
More than twenty master artisans participate in the creation of each piece, requiring approximately 300 hours of hand craftsmanship. Nearly fifty different colors are applied using complex decorative techniques, with around one hundred hours dedicated to decoration alone. The result is an exceptionally large, intricate porcelain composition measuring over one meter in length and weighing more than 53 pounds after firing.
