Lord Hanuman is one of the most venerated deities in Hindu mythology and a central figure in the ancient Indian epic Ramayana. Known as the monkey god and the devoted follower of Lord Rama—an avatar of Vishnu—Hanuman symbolizes unwavering loyalty, courage, inner strength, and divine protection. As the son of Vayu, the god of wind, he is celebrated for his supernatural abilities and heroic feats.
This exceptional sculpture is a highly complex artistic work crafted from over thirty individual porcelain fragments. A palette of fifteen meticulously applied colors is used throughout the piece, enriched with metallic accents, golden lusters, and pearlescent finishes. Hanuman is adorned with a spectacular handcrafted garland composed of 112 white flowers, 166 green leaves, and 5 roses, each created and attached petal by petal by Lladró artisans.
Additional highlights include the intricate etching on the helmet, crown, jewelry, and other ornamental details, all demonstrating the mastery and precision of Lladró’s High Porcelain craftsmanship.
